    日本侵華，席捲我國東南半壁，初期尚能自滇越鐵路運輸物資，日侵越南後，僅剩滇緬公路對外聯絡，援華物資經滇緬公路到達昆明後，還需要進入貴州「二十四拐」，最終運往陪都重慶與前線。

The 24 Zigzag Turns in the Highway of Guizhou

After its invasion, Japan literally occupied most of south and east China. During the early days of the War, supplies were still able to move in with Yunnan-Vietnam Railroad. After Japan occupied Vietnam, the Burma Road became the only outbound line of communication. After those supplies arrived Kunming through the Burma Road, they still needed to move through 24 Zigzags before arriving Chungking and frontline destinations.

Después de la invasión, Japón ocupó la mayor parte del sur y el este de China. Al inicio de la guerra, los suministros aún podían trasladarse con el Ferrocarril Yunnan-Vietnam.
