    民國27年(1938年)，在缺乏先進機械及專業技術人員情況下，民眾胼手胝足修築滇緬公路，該公路成為抗戰時期對外通聯、運送物資的主要通道。

Construction of the Burma Road

In 1938, without modern engineering equipment and professional technicians, Chinese people built the Burma Road with their hands. This pathway became the primary line of communication and supply during the War of Resistance.
